The first time I heard of the Generationals is when I saw them live at First City Music Festival two summers ago in Monterey. They would later become one of my favorite acts of the festival, and eventually one of my favorite bands! The Generationals is a two piece indie rock band from New Orleans. The band has four full length LPs out, as they are touring now on their most recent album, Alix. The Generationals stick out to me because their music creates a very sunny and warm atmosphere. They are able to create something very unique and special, however do it in a very simple manner. Magicians you could call them, for bringing their radiance to a dark, cloudy place such as Seattle. I couldn’t be more excited for the Generationals to light up the Crocodile with their sweet, comfortable, and genuine sound November 15th.
