There are a lot of great artists coming through Seattle in the next week. On Sunday, hopefully you were crying a little bit at the memory of middle school at Circa Survive or maybe sitting in a cushy seat at the last performance of If/Then at the Paramount wondering whether or not Idina Menzel hates the whole Frozen franchise because everyone sings “Let It Go” at her when they see her in public.

It’s been a emotional week for music. Grimes released Art Angels and we all teared up. Adele performed “Hello” for the first time live and we all cried.. And The Front Bottoms sold out so I’m not even going to do a recommendation for that show. It’s just too sad.

Here’s a preview of all the shows you could/should be at this week to come:

MONDAY, 11/9
Mac Miller with GoldLink, Domo Genesis, Alexander Spit, & The Come-Up
I can’t honestly give a big recommendation for Mac Miller because I’m not a fan of his music. THAT BEING SAID, all of that can be cancelled out with one word, or rather, one person: GoldLink. I can definitely give a big rec for that. He gives one of the best and most electric live performances I’ve seen. Hailing from Washington, D.C. Goldlink brings a strong magnetic presence to the stage that I’ve rarely seen in these type of shows and really gets the crowd going. SoDo is going to get cray. Just don’t bring a bucket hat. Please. // All ages. Doors 7PM. Showbox SoDo. Tickets available here.

Beach Slang with Worriers, Lithuania, & Parasol
Beach Slang has gotten a lot of critic’s attention since their first release, and now they’re giving us The Things We Do To Find People Who Feel Like Us. This Philly based band is without gimmicks and stunts. Just a melting pot of all things we love about pop punk. Their live shows are known for being infectiously boisterous and fun, and this one is all ages, so get ready to  // All ages. 7PM. Vera Project. Tickets available here.

TUESDAY, 11/10
Trey Anastasio Band
Just released a few weeks ago, Paper Wheels  is Trey Anastasio’s 10th solo album and mixes in 70s rock with his own signature musicality. The 7-piece group is sure to dazzle us all live with refreshing energy and instrumentation. Check out our awesome show preview here! // All Ages. Doors 6PM. Showbox SoDo. Tickets available here.

WEDNESDAY, 11/11
A$AP Rocky; Tyler, the Creator; Danny Brown; Vince Staples
This is perhaps one of the most hyped up and anticipated shows of the year so far. This star-studded performance is sure to be crowded, full, and the perfect avenue for you to display your inner *broski*. WaMu Theater is the best venue for such a hyphy show. Insert bucket hat comment from Mac Miller here.  // All Ages. Doors 6PM. WaMu Theater. Tickets available here.

Mr Little Jeans, Soren Bryce
If you’re not in the mood to get all sweaty and hyphy at A$AP Rocky, head over to the Crocodile to catch Mr. Little Jeans. First catching our attention with her original take on Arcade Fire’s “The Suburbs” on YouTube, Mr. Little Jeans has enjoyed considerable success with her signature synthpop sound since then, releasing one of (in my opinion) best debuts ever with her full length, Pocketknife last year. Expect a strong reception coming from the crowd this time round, it’s going to be a good one. // All ages. 8PM. The Crocodile. Tickets available here.

THURSDAY, 11/12
Halsey
Halsey is arguably one of the biggest breakout pop stars of 2015 so far, though she’s lowkey been on the radar for a while. Live, armed with a fiery and passionate fanbase, Halsey is unsettlingly fierce and determined, and fittingly so. Her electropop style and lyricism have captivated the hearts of every audience imaginable; her first album Badlands debuted the charts at number 2. //
All ages. Doors 8PM. Showbox SoDo. Tickets available here.

FRIDAY, 11/13
City and Colour
The newest album If I Should Go Before You, released in the last few weeks, is emotional and raw, and sure to stick in your head after just one listen, because Dallas Green’s evocative voice will haunt you for days. Simple, acoustic, and filled with grace and power all at once, City and Colour always seems to provide us with an inner peace where we can melt into a puddle all over the carpet.  // All ages. Doors 7PM. Paramount Theatre. Tickets available here.

Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Tigers Jaw
Ever felt like taking a trip back to freshman year of high school when you just sat in the locker room at P.E. listening to your iPod? Yeah, me neither. Or maybe???? This show is definitely for you who want to reminisce about those good ol’days. Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Tigers Jaw… 14 year old Bella is internally screaming right now that this is even a lineup that happened.  //  All ages. Doors 7PM. Showbox Market. Tickets available here.

SUNDAY, 11/15
Curren$y
Last time, equipped with a brand new album fresh off the presses, Pilot Talk III, now returning to Seattle for the second time this year, Curren$y is sure to deliver a good show, with an active, energetic set, trademark lyricism, and enthused fans. His current work, Canal Street Confidential has been pushed back a few times but is due to be out December 4th. Maybe he’ll perform some of his new stuff, maybe not, but regardless, it’s sure to be a good show to get the idea of Mondays outta your mind real quick. Jet life. // All ages. Doors 7:30pm. Neptune Theatre. Tickets available here.
