This Labor Day weekend, your friends at KXSU will be covering Bumbershoot! One of the largest events of its kind in North America, Bumbershoot takes its usual place this year at Seattle Center from September 5th – 7th. A distinguished and unique cultural event since 1972, Bumbershoot has come a long way since its inception. This year, One Reel (which has been producing the festival for decades) is working with AEG Live to put on the event, showcasing a wide array of music, comedy, visual and literary arts, dance, film, and more.
But you know we here at KXSU are ALL about the tunes. This year’s music lineup is pretty eclectic, boasting big name headliners like The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, and Faith No More, while also featuring smaller local favourites like Unlikely Friends, Raz Simone, Smokey Brights, Sisters, Dave B, Brothers From Another, Soft Sleep, to name just a few. There’s something for everyone at Bumby!!!
