1. If you’ve never seen a metal band, why not go for it?

Although metal and hardcore aren’t genres for everyone, going to a metal show is an experience. Power Trip can be labeled under hardcore punk, thrash metal, heavy metal, and much more due to their genre crossovers. One thing is for sure, their music is definitely heavy. If you want to say “f*ck it” and go for something new, check it out.

2. Ice-T loves them.

I don’t know how they connected… but they did.

3. Rolling Stone named their album Nightmare Logic one of the Top 20 Metal Albums of 2018.

“Nightmare Logic gathers the band’s source material – hardcore, punk and plenty of Eighties speed metal – and distills it into sharply focused and hooky aggo-blasts.” –Richard Bienstock

4. Fury is opening and they’re sick.

Fury is a hardcore band from Orange County, California, that has created a sound reviving and reflecting early Southern California hardcore. They’re lighter and have a more fun vibe to them.

Power Trip, Sheer Mag, Fury, and Red Death will be playing Neumos on Monday May 28th. The show is at 8:00PM and is all ages. Tickets are available here.
