Summer babies rejoice, our time is fast approaching. Taurus season has left me with a massive amount of procrastinated work to complete, but my sleep schedule is improved thanks to never attending morning classes. This time of indulgence and taking paves the way for a month of duality, a time to give and take and save the best for yourself. As we await Gemini season, I advise you to tie up any loose ends, set intentions for self-control and growth, and take responsibility for your actions.
The summer solstice falls on June 21st. With the sun directly above the Tropic of Cancer, the crabs will shed their winter solitude, leaving their sand burrows to bask in the sun. Cancer season is all year round. If you don’t believe, me ask Solange (Cancer sun, Aquarius moon, Cancer rising). A full moon on June 28th is the best birthday gift I could ask for; the Strawberry Moon, sometimes called Rose Moon or Honey Moon, signals the time of year when fruit begins to ripen. On this night especially, but all throughout Cancer season, remind yourself of the power of intuition. Trust your instincts and first judgements; Cancer rules the stomach—trust your gut.

TAURUS
(April 20—May 20): Did someone say identity crisis? If you are secure with yourself, delve deeper into yourself. Figure out what makes you “you” and challenge any notions of inherent characteristics. No need for self-doubt; build up self-confidence through creativity. Give thoughts a physical form. Fully expressing the internal will have an impact on those around you and inform them of what is important to you.

(May 21—June 20): Start planning the birthday festivities. Throw a party and invite only your closest friends. Go to dinner with a stranger and make a new friend. Leave the comfort zone of hyper-stimulation and try to relax. You’ve been taking on so many responsibilities—what are you trying to prove, and who are trying to prove yourself to? Ask yourself who’s opinion matters, and keep asking the question until the only possible answer is you.
