Halloween is on a Monday this year. Let’s all get out that collective sigh, and then rejoice in the fact that Wet has decided to grace the greatest Monday of 2016 with a performance on the holiday at Neumos. After spending the majority of this year opening for acts like CHVRCHES and The 1975, in addition to playing almost every festival in the United States this summer, they’re embarking on their own headline tour this fall. Known for their dynamic sound that floats between dark pop, indie, and R&B, this Manhattan-based trio fronted by Kelly Zutrau, with Marty Sulkow on guitar and Joe Valle on drums, is one you’re not going to want to miss.

They’ve already posted on their Facebook about the Halloween show, and I’m eagerly anticipating what costumes they’re going to be wearing. The possibilities for trios are endless: Harry, Ron, and Hermione; Ghostbusters; The Powerpuff Girls…

I’m low-key hoping for The Hex Girls the most, but I’ll have to wait and see. Opening for Wet will be Demo Taped, an experimental electro-pop producer from Atlanta.

Grab tickets for the show here – it’s gonna get spooky at Neumos on October 31st.
