Twice performed 2 nights at Climate Pledge Arena on January 13th and 14th. Twice is a nine member K pop girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group debuted in 2015 and includes Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Fans know the group for bright concepts, strong choreography, and catchy hooks. Over the past decade, Twice built a global fan base through consistent releases and sold out tours. You hear Twice songs at sports games, on social media, and in everyday playlists.

The concert featured a set list packed with major hits. The group performed “THIS IS FOR,” “Feel Special,” “Yes or Yes,” “I Can’t Stop Me,” “Moonlight Sunrise,” “Set Me Free,” and “The Feels”. Each song brought a strong crowd reaction. You could hear fans screaming along to every chorus. Each member also performed a solo stage. The solo stages gave you a clearer sense of each member’s style and personality throughout this tour era. Jeongyeon’s solo stood out for me as she sang her country hit, “Fix A Drink”. I recently started listening to more country music, and her stage matched my niche listening history perfectly.

Dahyun performed while injured and remained seated during her parts. Seeing her choose to stay on stage showed how dedicated she is to her fans and for the love of performing with the other TWICE members. Moments like that show you the bond between artists and the audience. TWICE deserves so much love because I even ran into someone from high school during the show which was shocking because I grew up in Oklahoma. Concerts bring together people from many places, even ones you do not expect.

The Climate Pledge popcorn also deserves a mention, because is it even a Climate Pledge show if I don’t go ham on a bag of popcorn?

The background dancers added movement and intensity to every song. Their presence made transitions smoother and performances feel bigger. The 360 stage design changed how the audience experienced the show. Every section had a clear view of the members. The layout reminded me of the KCON LA stage, which prioritizes visibility and crowd connection. After seeing this setup, I will expect more creativity for future concerts.

I have listened to Twice since childhood, even before learning the group name. Seeing OT9 perform live with my best friend in Seattle N1 felt amazing. The group also gave fans a special encore. They removed Feel Special from the main set to perform Takedown, then brought “Feel Special” back during the encore instead of “Likey”. I responded with screams so loud the guy next to me switched to an empty seat on the other side of him.

If you want to get more from a concert, pay attention to set list choices, stage layout, and solo performances. Twice delivered a show filled with care, planning, and fan awareness, and you could feel their energy throughout the night.
