A Few Last Concerts Before Summer Break

Author Bridget Benevides

If you are like me and leaving the wonderful city of Seattle for summer break in a few weeks, there might be a few things on your mind:

How on earth am I going to survive the California heat?

What am I going to do for 3+ months with no summer job and no friends?

How is my white a** going to avoid being sunburnt 24/7?

Most importantly: What am I going to do without the poppin’ Seattle music scene!!!??

Go to concerts while you have them right out your back door. Seattle is one of a kind in its vibrancy, its uniqueness and its music scene!!! My last concert of the year is A R I Z O N A at The Showbox on June 4th, and I could not ask for a better last show.

I started listening to A R I Z O N A’s music years ago when their debut album “GALLERY” came out in 2017. They are a little bit of pop, a little bit electronic, but all together very smooth, catchy and fun to listen to. I play them on my radio show at KXSU almost every week, and they are a great band to listen to on long plane rides.

“With over a billion worldwide streams and counting, A R I Z O N A has proven a true planetary phenomenon, creating worldwide waves with their ingenious brand of contemporary electronic dance pop. The trio first came together in college in 2015, their shared interests in production and songwriting uniting them as much as their mutual New Jersey heritage.” (https://thisisarizonamusic.com/bio/)
