For this week’s playlist, I wanted to curate a group of songs made for the spring. As the school year comes to a close, it becomes hard to find the motivation to finish off the year strong, but I have found having some good music can make all the difference.

This playlist is perfect for studying, relaxing, sitting in the sun, or listening with friends. We begin the playlist with “Girl of the Year” from Beach House’s 2018 album 7, which is my favorite album of theirs. Transitioning from dream-pop, I had to throw a classic Bowie song into the mix, before going into the more fast-paced underground indie and shoegaze tracks. The playlist closes with “Who Sees You” by My Bloody Valentine, arguably the most influential shoegaze band of the ’90s.
